  • MaTT  Club

May is the celebration month in MaTT  Club. We celebrated our Moms on May 5

with a Mom & Me party. This year our  theme was a backward party. We wore our clothes backward, played backward games and ate dinner backwards beginning with dessert! During game time players threw beanbags behind their backs and tried to get them to land in a bucket. Then we did backward limbo

which meant of course that everyone went over the limbo stick. We  finished game time with Jeopardy because the leader asks the questions and the players ask the questions! Each mom received an upside down jar of goodies. We ended with prayer time. The children drew for their prayer partner, as usual, with moms praying for the mother of the child. Thank you Danie and Kierra for helping out. Be sure to check out the pictures on the MaTT Club bulletin board.

On May 19 we went to  Herrin Bowl. For at least one of the kids this was

their first time bowling!   Everyone had a good time.  The kids decided they

want to go again next year.   Thank you, Park, for driving. We returned to the

church for snacks and  prayer time.

MaTT Club’s last event will be our pool party on June 7 at the home  of Kenny and Phyllis Fisher. MaTT Club will not meet in the summer. Thank you, all Moms, for providing part of supper on May 5.  Thank you May for providing snacks on May 19.

Thank you Jennifer for taking pictures.
