RE: COVID19 GUIDELINE UPDATE AT GRACE

7/29/2021

Many of you may have gotten the information regarding the surge of cases of the COVID19-Delta-variant in the Jackson County region. The new CDC and IDPH recommendation provide for us guidelines, as we examine and evaluate the risk to our people at Grace. The Illinois Great Rivers Conference is not issuing any new conference wide measures at the moment but allows local churches to determine best practices to safely gather during these times.

After discussion, our administrative council have decided to ask for you to wear a mask when you come to Grace church for any meetings or gatherings, starting this Sunday, August 1st, 2021. Albeit the discomfort, this measure will allow for us to continue to do what we love to do - gather together and care for one another in Christ. We have come this far with all of you being patient, and prayerful. Thank you for your loving and caring attitudes towards each other.

In case you are not able to bring a mask, there will be one available in the lobby. You can also worship with us online, as we will continue to provide video streaming through Grace’s Facebook page.

Looking forward to connecting with you. As always, God is good!

Your brother in Christ,

Pastor Rhee
