helping hands

Grace Church would like to let you know of ways you can help. Our church has a lot of volunteers that help in countless ways! We can always use more help though, with ministries for the church and for our community and neighbors. Please consider helping in a way that suits your own personal gifts.

  • Grace Cafe

    Hello Everybody!

We appreciate Grace Cafe volunteers including Roberta Williams, Sun Hee Park,

and the UMW. Thank you for the snacks and drinks we enjoy at church!

Good news: it is easier now to volunteer at Grace Cafe on a Sunday:

Now there is no shopping (or cooking) required! The snacks, cheese sticks, fruit, and half-and-half will be labeled,  waiting for you in the fridge and under the coffee counter.  The coffee is pre-measured in baggies with a note about how much water  to put in the coffee pots. Put water in the pots, pour the coffee into the  baskets, and plug them in. No need to be intimidated by making coffee for

us coffee lovers!   Alas, clean-up is still clean-up....

We specifically need a volunteer the last Sunday in July -- the 29th. Please

respond to this email if you can cover that date.

There are many other dates open to volunteer through the fall, and we really

need some more volunteers. If you can help, please respond to this email or sign up on the Grace Cafe bulletin board next to the

    coffee pots.

Any questions? Email or call me (618) 713-7053.

  • Spirit of Christmas Project

Running in late fall through early  December

Names and wishlists of less fortunate children are available in the church foyer.  Please consider signing up and providing Christmas presents to some of these children.  All items are usually needed by the first week of December. Check the Grace Notes monthly newsletter or signs in the foyer for more information
